final post

participation

    SO I have forgot my gym strip a total of one time this year and that was when I was not aware that we had gym class other than that I have been in class with my gym strip and had a legit reason why i was no there.I have been to class on time always. This class was pretty active compared to the other classes and I encouraged several people with having more intensity or more fun while doing a activity. I have always tried my 100% and on the days I didn't it was due to my legs. Now my skill level is really good. Due to me being a super active person from the start and a self motivated person I feel like my skill level in any game is very good. Other than the games that require more technique than running and juking I manage to pick them up after a few tries. This year I did several activities I did not want to do or try but I stepped out of my comfort zone either for people not being there too many people being at the game I want to play or me wanting to lead something and get the game started because no leaders popped up. By this I found out that I enjoy paying badminton and rugby so i even tried out for them and had lots of fun.
I would give myself a 25/25 for participation


social responsibility and contribution


    At the beginning of this year I decided that I want other to shine in this aspect of leading and the only times I would lead is when no one else wants to and I would always help the person who is leading so that they can lead better. I bring the equipment if any is needed and put it away.  I like helping the other classes because our class is self motivated but many other classes are not so i help random people I don't know so that they could be having more fun. I  have always had a positive attitude to the game even when i'm not having fun I try to do something to change that and help around with a smile on my face. I talk to lots of people and step put of my friends circle so I could meet new people and know them better. When it comes to honesty I was super honest and have not lied once. if there is a doubt I have always gone with what the other person says because I am not sure I give them the benefit of the doubt. And for the fitness scores I have been super honest because I think it is only lying to yourself . I have done some volunteering in the community but I feel like I could have done more.
I would give myself a 23/25 for this


healthy living


    This year i am so happy with my choices of eating food. I thought that was a very light by me being 110 so i started eating more food and gained weight by 30 pounds. I eat lots of food but its not in masses just maybe a apple one and then next hour I might have a salad. I stared going to the gym and have turned some of my weight into muscle and do workouts that help me get a overall better body for myself. My fitness scores have been my best. In grade 8 my best beep test was around 11 and in grade 9 my best was 12 and this year I broke my record and got a 12.10 and a 12.6 when I was not supposed to run. I am very fit compared to many people and now I am in a very good weight zone so I can go to the gym and get a better body for myself. I play tennis lots and go outside lots sometimes the park and sometimes to play tennis whatever it is when the sun is out. overall this year I am so happy with my healthy living choices .

blogs


    My blogs have been so much better this year compared to the last year.  have one of the most blogs around 36 or something like that and they are meaningful. I have shown evidence and meaning full thoughts on my honest opinion on how it was for me. I have written lots of comments on others blogs are listened to what people said on my blog. I feel like I have done very well for blogs this year
I would give myself a 23/25 for blogs.


SO overall i would give myself a 95% for PE this year and it has been such a good year and I will Miss everyone this year because I had so much fun with my classmates

Last activity day with buddies

So on the last activity day with buddies we played lacrosse. It was fun especially trying to teach them because it reminded me of how I was when I tried at the start. I told the little buddies that it's best if we work together and it doesn't matter if we win or lose as long as we had fun. I pumped them up and we made a name and I scream it out and everyone said it after so they were hyper. Overall whenever my buddies would get a point I would scream yes and be excited so they were excited too. By the end they all ran and passed and communicated well and were super happy. I high fives them all and they seemed happy. It was really fun!

Pyramid

Today we had a choice of things to do for fitness. There was yoga running and the pyramid. I choose to do the pyramids be cause my cardio is great and there were too many people at yoga plus I stretch at home so yeah. I stayed beside Zauq an Kyle because I feel like they can help push me. I went super fast and got to 9 or 10 reps of each activity. I found the birdies the hardest to do because it took a lot of energy to do them. I went super fast tho. By the end I was super tired and definitely gave it my all. I'm happy I chooses to do this instead of yoga and cardio because I had a great workout and had fun doing it except for the house music that was playing it was not very inspirational and felt like we were doing a beep test or community run.

WALK

I went for a walk instead of getting someone to pick me up. Idk what else I can say ummm the humidity level was chill dude. Umm there were clouds in the air and it was a good day. The temperature was around 16 degrees. It was like a decent 30 mins walk. Oh yeah I also went to the gym today and do upper body and core. It was a GOOD WALK .

Leading other classes

I'm So today it was choice and first me Zauq Kyle and Gurjap decided to play baseball but then me and Gurjap went to play CTF. So we took the equipment and decide that we both would lead. Then when we came tulin was there and I asked if she wants to lead or she wants me to. She took charge and organized the game. Gurjap enforced the rules and I set up and made sure everyone played and ran and smiled. Tulin did a good job but she didn't enforce them so proper weren't listening and we're doing their own thing. Gurjap made them listen and then tulin could talk. When the game finally started people cheated back talked and lied and did not run at all. I told people to run and they're like no and then I tell my own team to run as a group and someone tells me to shut up. The other classes attitudes are very different to ours. We told the rules but people didn't listen and did their own thing. I kept on giving tulin ideas so she could lead and overall considering that we had to lead a bunch of juniors who don't listen and cheat we did a great job. I felt like neufs class took charge but when they don't listen and don't run it imacts the game very negatively. There were some who did listen and i thank them. We also clear up and brought all the equipment back. Overall tulin did a great job of leading and me and Gurjap really had to enforce the rules and set up the game and give ideas. We had a good time but if people cooperated it would have been much more fun compared to today.


Grouse grind

On Monday me and my family decided to do the grouse grind. I wanted to do this again because my last time was 1 hour and 30 mins and I was really tired after. This time I went with my brother and we both kept on going for 4 mins and stopped for 1. This way we regained our energy and had a good time. It was funny because we motivated this really fit guy because we kept on catching up to him and he kept on getting up and kept on going. Then there were these kids who were full of energy and at the end of 3/4 my brother ran out of water so instead of leaving him I have him half of mine. I could have easily gone faster but I felt like he needed motivation so I waited 3 mins at 1/4 for him and then he went faster. At the end I ran when I saw the top and beat those energetic kids and that really fit guy. It was fun 


Buddies

We went to do buddies again but this time we would play baseball but it was set it differently. I went with Zauq and Kyle again and out buddies seemed nervous at first but then they smiled and ran. I was running lots at the start but then I stopped and let the little buddies run and have fun. We let them get home runs but we also made each of them sole and we felt good inside. We high fives our buddies and they seemed really happy. It's better to lead and let's the little buddies have a better time idk you just feel better in th inside. 

25 minute run

So this reminded me of the time on grade 8 when I was in ms miles class and we would do this all the time. I continually ran all the time and got 6-9 laps depending on how fast I went. I wasn't the fastest and that was surprising so that's what motivated me to go harder. Today it reminded me of that. I chooses Zauq and Kyle as my partners because they both are very fit and can motivate me. We ran 5 mins and rested for 1. It was a good pace because we all could keep it but then we found out Zauq had a problem with his ankle and couldn't run as fast. So we motivated him to push through and took longer breaks. another group got infrotn of us because we kept on taking breaks but we all did really good. I felt like this pace was good and we stayed at a great pace with music and plenty of motivation. We all were sweaty and had a good time and talked about things while running.

And after we all looked like we were agitated but we all worked hard and pushed through. I was happy that Zauq kept his pace strong even though his leg was hurting and Kyle and me
Kept motivating and throughout we talked plenary and had a good time because our music taste was the same so we screamed the song and ran. It was really fun!!

why I push myself

So I remembered this other time where we did fitness as a mass gym class and we had to choose a partner and run around the school while the partner does exercises. I pushed myself along with joel, arjun, gurjap and even nick. If they were slow and I saw them walk i would burst the sprint so they would have to go again and if they tried id go slower and let them catch their breath. I felt like some werent putting any effort.AT the end i was burnt and red all over. Then neufeld asked why do u push yourself. My anwser to that is because I play a physical sport and love to be fit. I just love trying my hardest and challenging myself to overcome new obstacles. At the start when i came to the class i was really underwhelmed by the people here. Honestly this is gonna sound so mean but i didn't think that anyone would try by looking at them at the start of this class. I was totally wrong tho all our class puts a lot of effort and that's what pushes everyone to become better. I like to be  a positive vibe in class even when im not mentally prepared but i try nit to show it and it works. People get a positive vibe and instead of saying OHH LOOK AT THIS TRY HARD they tactfully try harder. Thats why I help the other team so the WHOLE class can have a better experience. Like winning is cool but without people trying and it being one sided id rather just leave the class honestly if i get a bad vibe one day. I try my hardest so i can make other do better and also if i can go in pe, have afterschool practice on some days and then go play tennis and then go to the gym. Even though i come at like 9PM i feel happy that I took charge and tried my hardest. I love being fit it makes me feel good. So overall this is gonna sound cheesy but I try my hardest for the benefit of the class and tone it down if it becomes one sided.

BOOTCAMP

     SO we did this for fitness with both the band classes. I fell like everyone has a lot more fun when both classes are involved because you talk to your friends from the other class and you can see their tone or mood  PE and compare it to your class. MY total score was 426 which is weird. The thing is that i didn't know how to count my numbers like if i went to one side it counts as one whole or would it be if I go there and back so i just counted when you go there and back. I partnered up with joel and gurjap. I feel like joel could push me and gurjap would see us try hard and put more effort in which he did. There was also the part where people cheated themselves and went to fast and didn't do the exercise properly. I feel like it was a bad idea to run to start of so I decided to do it at the end. After all our legs were hurting even arjuns and gurjaps. IT was funny because we all could barely walk up the stairs and I know for a act that our legs were killing us. Yeah what let me down was upper body strength

Dragon tails with the other class

 A lot of hype was comming going into this match against the other band class. I knew that the other class destroys us at band but when it comes to gym. We have so many leaders and people who give it their all and try their hardest. We had super fast runners on each side for all of the rounds. The one thing that we were lacking was teamwork. Fiesal Kyle and other people took charge but that was the worst idea possible. They all had different dtategies and that created us to not be cord instead and we all spent time fighting and arguing and didn't come up with any strategies. The one thing taht did work was when Kyle said just go for it and we all just went. The thing about this game is that when ur playing defensive it's best to have runners at the sides and people waiting at the line so taht no one can pass. This created a very dull game and it felt like we weren't doing much when on the defende except just guessing. The games based on luck and teamwork and it doesn't matter about the ball because it's so tiny you can't even see it until you get someone's pinnie. I would recommend using one of those square things with like beads in it so it's more visible and you can actually throw it. Overall we had the more fit and more coordinated class but due to people not listening and mixed strategies and all of us just arguing the other class took the advantage with their coordination and got the w. It was still really fun hopefully the grade 10s get to have a rematch against the sharks. I thought that the grade tens should be called tigers or lions because sharks are super dominant in the sea against other mammals so we should be called lions or tigers because they are such an dominant mammal when it comes to strength and speed and also the food chain thingy

Rugby😬

Due to some of my friends telling me to join rugby I did. The thing I was scared of was that a 200 pound person would come and make me fly. Today at practice there were only like 13 boys. We did the average run around the field then some practices on throwing and the average stuff. At the last 30 mins we decided to play a friendly tackle match. The deal was that u should tackle with all ur body against someone who is a lot lighter than u. So what I usually do is juke people out and get it through and just run. So I got the ball and I hiked out one person but there were 2 I front of me and then out of nowhere a 200 pound guy hits me in the back and I went flying. It makes it worse that he's my friend and he did it on purpose because they wanted him to do better but yeah I went flying well kind of. After me head hurt but I just smiled thinking to myself to never stop running . It's good that I have a lot of physicals activities outside of school so that I can stay fit.

Getting outside

So on the long weekend I was anything but active. Then on Sunday my family decided to go to a park. I just woke up and it was like 1 pm so I took a shower and decided to go with them. It was really fun because I had not done much physical things over the long weekend and got to spend time with my family. We decided to go to this park somewhere in maple ridge. We were outside from 1 to like 8 and did a lot of waking. We even played a friendly match of soccer and it was fun because none of us were good at it so we just had fun with a non competitive side.


U can see that I wasn't active the past 2 days but then. I finally went outside and got some steps in 




Frustrating return



So I went on a break from tennis again. This time it was for like 3 weeks. I finally played again and it was such a frustrating day. I went from being really good to being a beginner. My shots weren't there and on my lobs which are always on the line. They were Hiting miles out. I used to smash my raquet over my mistakes when I was little. I stopped for like 2 years but today I smashed it again. It's such a frustrating thing when u are good and then u just suck. My timing was really bad again and I wasn't even looking at the ball. I shouldn't have taken a break from tennis. OK SO U WAS WIRTIG THIS MID PRACITICE. Idk how but I became better but still. Meh hopefully I can become good again.

Giving it my all... Well kinda

So I wanted to see how far I can go at a high speed. I went at a 8.5 for like 8 mins and tbh I'm so sad with that. I wanted to hold at least a fifteen minute so I'll do this again at a later time. I did the regular arms and core. But increased the weight on each by 10 pounds because my body was getting used to it. Yeah I'm pretty disappointed in myself but at least I have a goal that I need to beat and a challenge  that I have to overcome. My legs still hurt even tho I stretched like everyday but whatever hopefully it gets better

Buddies in the field

This is the second time I met my buddy. We played chatriots  with a hula hoop. It was a lot harder because I don't wanna use force so I let them lead and ughhj no one would listen because each of them kept pulling a different way and they wouldn't listen to me or anyone. After we started communicating better and it helped a little. I learned that with little kids u gotta give them more of a insensitive to get them to do what would make u win. I had a blast though

Chariots

 Okay we played chariots. It's a new game that John came up with. At first I was not at all happy to be playing this because I like fast paced games where ur responsible for yourself and no one elese. To warm up we did what we did with long ball so to mesure the strength of our team I made them pull me and Amrit and see our strength in face and turning. It was pretty fun warming up. After we had a contact version and we destroyed. Each player in our team had a pinny or even two. Our plan was leave the teamwork part alone and if you want to go somewhere just pull as hard as you can. We were definitely the most aggressive and used a lot of contact. So then the next round we had no contact. So we started communicating more but then we left Amrit and then there was four. This actually worked better because I took the ummm I guess chatriot. Then we communicated more and were a lot more agile. So We went perfect and got a lot of pinnys. Then on the last round where two of the "horses" are blindfolded we decided to keep Arjun as the one who can see because he can pull all of us so we had a chatrioteer 2 horses and then the main horse plan. In the need we worked so well together and kept a great winning mind while having fun.In our team we had miggy, harjot, amrit( first round )  one thing that really helped us at the last game is that I became the charioteer and Arjun became the horse that could see, because we know each other so well we knew what to do and there wasn't a huge need for instructions just because me and Arjun have a understanding of what we're capable of. the thing that we could have done better was have more teamwork in the start but after we were solid. The team work part was lacking on a lot of the teams like some of them wanted to be aggressive like us and other people in their team wanted to be defensive and that created easy prey to hunt down. I feel like using a rope is a good idea because it gives more space for movement and it feels like I'm on a chatriot( well more than being On a hula hoop and not being able to see behind u.One thing that was weird was that this was a lot more different than a average gym class but this was just as fun or even more fun!

Gym

Yeah so rn it's spring break, I gained a lot of weight so yeah I wanted to see if I am still fit so I decided to go to the gym once again. I went in with the mind that I will not do much cardio and focus on arms and core. Then when I warmed up I was thinking of how fast I can go and keep a strong pace. I was surprised by the results. Even after not doing any gym or fitness or even tennis I managed to keep a pace of 7 for 38 mins which is crazy. For the first 2 mins I warmed up and at around 10 mins my legs were acting up and hurting but I pushed through it and
kept on doing it. I felt really bad after because I tried so hard. This is the first time I sweated in the gym as well. Then after I did some core machines and some  machines for the arms. Next time I'll go at 10 and see how long I can last. My goal is to regain my six pack which I lost a while back and to not have a big difference between my left arm and my right arm. After I was really tired and drank some protein so my muscles won't be weak and I stretched to not make my body as stiff. So overall this is the Fort time I've tried this hard and it'll definitely pay off in the long run

Pickle ball

    We played pickle ball in gym this one time. I was so hyped for it because I play tennis so that was my zone. I had Nick as my partner for doubles. I guess you could say I have a very unfair fair advantage if that even makes sense. We never lost. I'm not trying to be a cocky person rn but it would be super difficult to actually beat us two because I know how to play doubles so I would just poach, smash and hit a slice underhand serve. Idk it was fun but then I just started to goof off. I could hit a forehand because It's different in tennis and just ended up chopping. At the end I hit Nick accidently and smashed a ball at fiesals body. Yeah that all I can remember. I should have taken pictures because that's what my blogs are lacking .Bye bye

Buddies

So a while back( I say that a lot for the blogs ) we had buddies. I didn't have any questions to ask so when I found my buddy I just talked about stuff I overheard from others. That didn't work well so I just talked about music,  videos games even tho I barely game now and some other really weird topics.  I guess we had some things in common so it wasn't too awkward.  Then when we started time play the game I was super surprise about the energy level given by the kids.  They could get like a 14 on the beep test with that much energy! The game we played was super fun and even tho I didn't eat anything that day except some junk food. I felt good inside because I did something for someone just to feel good. I could have easily skipped and went to eat something but idk it just felt good because eventually they're gonna be like one day and will hopefully give back to the community because that's one-on-one the best feeling in the world! Dragontail

So a while back we played dragontail. It's like a mixture of tag and football. U gotta get the guy with the rubberband. It was pretty fun because the other team could be sneaky or give it to the fasted person. It's a pretty good game buy one thing I would say to improve it is that people can't hide their hands behinds their back. Even through I came up with this shady plan it takes away a lot more strategy. Like if that was implemented people would go in groups and hide behind each others backs. It was overall pretty fun. At the end of it we lost to the grade 9s it the second overtime. It was fair play. Then when erlynn was cleaning up I went there and was first thinking of locking some of our classmates. Erlynn was Iike stop so.I just held the gate for as long as I could. They got out in like 2.5 mins so yeah. That's it

old match

Aight so today imma be talking about my final that I had with this guy. My thought were that I  wasn't even supposed to make it to the finals and I definitely wasn't expecting me to do so good in this. This was again this really heavy topspinner guy. I played him in doubles 3 times and I lost all 3 in a close match or a 3 set. The last time I played this guy was a year ago and that was also a 3 set. I managed to win that match 4-6 6-4 6-2. Now at this point I did train a little so I wasn't that bad but I switched to a new raquet and that changed all for me. It took me a while.to get used to it tho. The last raquet I used gave me too much power so I switched to one that gives me more control. In the first set it would say it was probably my best tennis I ever played. There were so many points that were just amazing. It was very high quality tennis. Even tho I made the better shots he took the set because of his serve and forehand. He's  a lefty that puts alot of spin so when he serves to the add side the ball slides to the left and that's really hard to cope with sometimes. He took the first set 6-3. Then the next set was almost the exact same but he broke me at 5 all so he was serving for the championship. He had a total of 2 match points on the add side. The first one he came in for a volley and missed it out and for the second on he missed his forehand. I SHOULD HAVE LOST HE WAS THE BETTER PLAYER but then the momentum shifted when I broke him and I carried that momentum in the tiebreaker. I took a lead of 4-0 and managed to take the set 7-6(3). At the last set it decided to conserve my energy and play safer. It worked well and when I came to me running back.to go to a lot I hit so many of them and got almost all of them in. Then I finally finished the match an diners so happy because I literally came back from losing and it was just a wonderful match.  There's been a
couple of these kind of matched but I'll save that for another day

Midterm

Firstly I'd like to apologize that this is so late. I posted it before but my phone became buggy and never published it. So this is basically the second time I have to do this
I I have always brought my gym strip to class except for once and on that day we went even supposed to have gym. I have had a fake smile in gym class almost every day because I don't want to make people have a negative vibe so I cover it up and pretend like I'm happy so that others can have a good vibe when they are beside me or see me do something. I have participated on the fitness days the best just because I feel like I need to show people how to do something. I have given it all I could on these days because I need to show and lead by example and also help people when I see that they are struggling. I have always gave it my all in activities. I have recently been struggling with gym because of my legs and my arm so the last time I did the pond run my legs were killing me but I managed to pish through all the pain and keep going even tho it was a really bad idea.
I help people who are struggling to do something in gym. If people don't set up which rarely happens I contribute and help and if there is no leader that wants to lead I'm not afraid yo go and lead. I always bring a positive attitude to the class. I always help students who need help and with the other star students I manage to push them to reach their limits.
I have always been so active on fitness days. This year I broke my beep test record and made a awesome time on my plank of 5 mins. I have been able to push myself and go higher than I thought I could. Tbh I really over do it in gym class and now it has become so bad for me I need to slow down or I won't be able to do much in gym class because my body will hurt over the limit and I won't be able to do anything in gym. I engoy fitness activities where I am solo such as the community run and the beep test. I feel like I can really push myself to go as fat as I can. I don't enjoy loco motion because when I do a activity I see so many people not do anything and that gives me a bad vibe. My fitness goals for the rest of the year are to reach a 13.8 on the beep test, hole a 8 minute plank and get a level 3 on sit and reach,last but not least is to get a 17 minute community run.
Leadership to me means someone who isn't afraid to help out take charge and try thirty hardest to get a positive vibe to others. There isn't a "best" leader in our class. Erlynn leads by setting up the game. Janelle Shiraz avani grace and Ruth lead by setting up and keep on going even after they are worn out. Then there's people who lead by example such as fiesal. BUT there is one thing that is weird about this class. WE have some grade 10 students and all the grade 10's should know how to lead and i'm not saying that they need to lead the whole lass all i'm saying is that they should do something that is outside of their friends zone. Each person leads in their own way and this class don't have a set leader.
I would truly just like my body to recover so that I can get back to giving it my 100% in tennis. I would also love to be more flexible. I am most proud of being the last man on the beep test because I was about to quit but I kept going and made neufeld proud!
Finally I think that I deserve an A at a 94%. The only thing that lacks for me rn is my blog and I'm gonna start to improve that. I have never gave a bad vibe to people by my level of participation. I eat well and do train my body outside of gym time.
Hopefully the next semester I can achieve all these goals and ty neufeld and goofs for a decent semester 1. Can't wait to see ya goofs again.

Triple threat

Today we did this thing where you need to be in a group of 3. In my group there was zauq, Kyle and I.its called triple threat.
The weird thing is that all 3 of us have a injury of some sort so you would think that we couldn't do much but in reality all of us did so well.I didn't give up and took maybe five ten  second breaks. The hardest part for me was probably lifting weights. I'm not supposed to lift any weights because of my elbow. I did do them and luckily my elbow did not hurt that Much. I feel like I could have done better when I was on the mat. My balance also needs improvement. Overall all 3 of us tried really hard and were sweating a lot after!
