So a while ago we did the beep test. The girls were up first so we had to do something's to show other things. I did 25 pushups and holder the plank for 5 mins which is insane. At that point when I finished the plank the girls were done. I set myself to get a 12 cuz before 12.6 was my all time highest. Then when I got to 12 I was like yeah I'm done but then I saw other people still going. Then I thought NAHHH SAAN imma keep on pushing. After 12.5 all the rest were done and I kept on going for 5 beeps after that. So I got to12.10 which is my new record... pretty good for the first beep test I did in this year.

School weight room
So I chose to improve my flexibility and get stronger legs. I chose to work on more of flexibility more. I chose to follow this website

Modified Beep Test
So we did the modified beep test but before that we had to do some exercises. Me and a bunch of my pals did it very fast and then we just waited and stretched until the girls were done. Then when it was our turn. I was being kinda over confident in my stamina and wanted to go full on and still try and finsh all the 20 or so beeps. I did them all but I should have stopped at 10 but I stopped at like 11 and that wasted alot of energy. But overall it was good. I could have paced myself a lot better.

Ultimate In The Snow
We played ultimate in the snow. It was fun but I made one HUGE mistake. I accidentally tackled Shiraz and made it so that he could not play for a while. OMG I felt so bad doing that but we were cool after because I didn't mean to. I found that playing in the snow made it a whole lot tougher cuz people either dont move much or they move a whole lot more. Yeah nothing else is coming in my mind 'bout that day so i'll just end this here but it keeps on getting more weird

pretend this was posted before the last post
Obviously this is about Thursday and this was the second day where all of the band classes combined and it was very difficult for me. We played things but there was something really weird that happened. I felt very tired and I did not even try a lot above my average. IDK why I felt so tired. We played speed ball again. The first round it was each band class v.s. each other. Lets say it was a tie. In that round I really did not need to play defensive but when the next round came and it was grade 10's against the grade 9's it was a really big surprise. The grade 9's toyed with us D: I played a whole lot more defensive and when I would get a goal I would try to go back and play defensive. Overall it was a great time and every was having fun! One thing I have to change is my evidence. I don't have much evidence and I can but sometimes I get to lazy and forget. I really need to get out of this bad habit. I had a great time in the second round.
yoga O.o
This yoga fitness class made me realize how bad my flexibility really is. I was not flexible at all. I did try my hardest though. I did not give up even though it became very difficult. One more thing I realized is that I should bring 3 shirts to school. The one I wore that day was a nike unleash speed because I thought we would do the beep test. But no we did not and it made the shirt look so dumb. OMG I felt so dumb wearing this like what am I going to be fast for in yoga!
wednesday all classes outside
My memory is really bad about this day so i'm sorry if I forget things... there was more important stuff to. This was the first time that I forgot my gym strip because I thought we would being watching a movie but we were going outside. What a pleasant surprise! So the first thing we did was ctf. It was extremely fun. I played offensive a lot. I need to obviously play more defensive though because every time I would bring one in there would be people that got some of ours. Then we played speed ball. This was probz the worst I played in speed ball. I played offensive and barely got anything. i helped people with the rules and like I always do, help the other team sometimes. Overall I think that I did great.. only If I brought y gym strip I would have done a whole lot better!

Ultimate
We played ultimate. It was fun. I kept on skidding on the wet grass and fell one time. Everyone was having a fun time and trying while smiling. I became a tank and then I decide to include others and called their names and let them have fun. I even told people to go to the other team (arjun and gurjap) because it was not very balanced teams. I think that we had fun while getting more fit.There was a epic catch. I threw the frisbee very low and 35 meters away arjun caught it when he was on our team. I also rejected many people and slapped the frisbee, i jumped and caught the Frisbee and caught most of them. It was a overall very fun time that all of the class had.

Locomotion again
We did loco motion end of story.
joke(you were supposed to laugh but this is just me typing useless words when I am tired)
We did loco motion again.this time with two disco balls ...yay this totally helped us. People seemed to have more fun and not try as much because it was harder to see but I tried my best after a while because I just did not wanna do fitness while people were playing dodge ball and negativity was all around me with people not doing the best. The disadvantages with no seniors in the period. Then i snapped out of it and realized no one need to be there. Im there for myself and then I started trying alot. At the end man people did not sweat but I did . I dont have any pictures for this (im sorry for that)

Hill Run
Finally a real fitness day where I can do my best. We did the hill run and I overlapped everyone 1 time and some people 6+. The thing that made me better than everyone else was not that I am very fit already. The thing that made a difference is that I PACED myself. I ran-jog always up the hill and even beat Mr.Davis up the hill( thanks to Parmeet telling me that he was coming while I was jogging up) I did my best and at the end I saw people extremely tired and helped them while Iw as going down hill. The one thing that I could do better is not race people beacuse I will burn out my energy quicker.
circuit fitness thingy
A while ago we did the circuit fitness where you chose one partner and one runs around a lap inside the circuit of the school and the other does some stuff inside the gym example is like planks. I chose Nick(grade 9 one) because I wanted to help some people other than my friends. I must say he did pretty well and tried his best. I did not wait for my friends and I and if I did while I was running I would encourage them while running. I did a 1 30 plank even though I did not record it because it would be so boring. I also helped others and told people to try harder and pushed most of the people that seemed like this was a free block or that needed some encouragement. Overall I tried my best and did a bit above.
Speedball...yay so much fun...
So we played speed ball outside in the cold weather a long time ago and I decided at night one day to do my blogs so... yeah. I did try my best to run and have fun. I always play offense and try to score in any game which can be good and bed. Good because if our team is destroying I can contribute BUT if my team needs support I don't really help. I did bring a positive attitude to the game. I even helped the other to on the rules and how to play the games. gave them tips and strats to make the game more enjoyable. Atomic Volleyball
So before locomotion we did atomic volleyball. I had a group but then a group took my friends and a teacher told me to go with some greade 8. Our team tied with 2 teams and beat all the rest. I helped the grade eights with the rules of the game and what we need to do to win. i did not hog the ball and let all of the players serve and spike. I think that we did great for a team!

So on last fitness Friday we did locomotion. I was giving it my all in this fitness class. I did all of the things fast and right. I helped Nicolas by cheering him on but not staying beside him but encouraging him whenever I meet him. I also tried so hard that the next day my legs were very soar!

Final term blog
This year has been a one to remember for me in PE.
1- I have always participated in any sport that we would go out and play. I have been away for very important reasons such as tennis tournaments and have never not gave it my 100% at one point. I have always brought my gym strip and have changed if I got sweaty. I am very active in all games we play. A example is in CTF I always go on the offense and run and give the other team a hard time. I am pretty good at anyone of the sports or games we play and help others and make everyone have a good time. I motivate myself to go to sports where there is going to be a active level of participation and switch games if there is not a sufficient amount of positive energy. I would give myself a 25/25 here.
2-In class I always cheer on everyone even if they are not in my team. I help organize the game. I participate every well and help others to bring their intensity level up. I felt like my leadership skills really improved and hopefully will keep on improving. I always play tennis everyday and keep on improving. I feel like I am positive energy channeling into everyone I talk to. My friends want to do better than me in fitness and I think it helps them improve.I would give myself a 23/25 here
3- I used to be a skinny kid in grade 4 and still would play tennis. I have gotten a bit worse in the beep test but have gotten a lot faster in sprinting.I used to not be able to do a 10 in the beginning of the class and now I can go up to 12. I could not do very well in fitness because of my legs and now they are a lot better I recovered very well. I eat very healthy food. I never ate any meat and that helps a lot. I have shown what I have don outside of class time here. I would give myself a 23/25 here...
4- This is the first time I have don blogs for gym and I think that I did pretty good in it. I have a total of 25 posts and most of them are meaningful. I have put pictures in and the thing that I am lacking here is the amount of videos. I have showed meals of food and green tea. I have looked at all the classes blogs often and have been commenting on others. I think I deserve a 21/25 here.
Overall I think that I should deserve a A

Sleeping
When I go to sleep I sleep for about 11 hours and that is very good for me because I am full rested for the next day. I usually sleep early and on weekends I sleep in for a very long time. I fell like this is very good for me because I will not be tired and preform poorly in school or tennis becuauseI get enough sleep.
Trying to quit tea
I drink tea a lot and it is very high in caffeine. I read that it will improve your reflexes but make you very inaccurate and for tennis. I need to quit tea very quick. Now I will try and drink green tea.
Tennis practice
The day after the tournament in Victoria I wanted to play tennis to get better for the possible chance to go to Whistler again. Me and my brother Mukunj went to play and we played for 2 hours. Both of us were really tired after that.
Healthy Food
Today I wanted to eat something a bit more healthy and I thought of eating the soup thingy. It was very tasty and healthy for you. I usually eat pretty healthy and not have to much to the point where it is hard for me to walk. After me and my brother Mukunj playing tennis I felt like we should eat more healthy.
Victoria
We just went to Victoria for a tennis tournament and It was bad for me. I lost my first match and then won my second and my third. Then when I got in the consolation final I lost. I felt like I needed to practice on everything a bit more and keep the serve percentage high. Then we went to walk near the parliament building in Victoria and It was very cold because of the cold wind.
class without neuf
When neufeld is not here, we have me, richard and some other people who try to organize the game but it gets very difficult for the game to start. We are all disorganized and take 20 minutes to set up the game, but when the game starts there are no problems . I fell like there has to be more people who are the leaders and take charge of the class or it will stay the same
Tournament
Last two weeks I played a tennis tournament. I came in the round of 16 and it was a selection tournament. I felt like I did pretty good in it. My first match was a 3 set match and I won it 6-4 3-6 6-2 and it was a very long match. Then I played the #1 seed and lost but I learned a lot from it. Hopefully I can keep on getting better and better.

Atomic volleyball
We did atomic volleyball and it was very fun to play. Our team with me,diamond,rajan and joel was great, we won all the 7 matches we played . I felt like the game was very different, It made everyone do the best they can do. I was very tired and we could hold the ball for 2 seconds and that was a very good thing. We should do more creative games like thing. I could have played by the rules because we had to switch but when they did not I did not and that was a bad thing to do.
community run
So on Tuesday we did the community run and it was a 45 minute class. I had pants so I did not run and i walked. I mainly walked but that is not what was the highlight was. when the bell was about to ring I was at the top of the hill. I sprinted down the hill and that was the fastest I have ran in my whole life. I felt like i was running 15 km/h. I got exhausted after that and I did that in my jeans. I felt very tired after that. I felt like even though I had jeans I should have fast walked and not just walked.

Community run
I think that I did great on the community run. I kept at a very hard jog at all times except at the crossings. I came a 5 out of all the gym classes and was the first grade 9 again coming at 19 minutes and 17 seconds! When I was running by stomach hurt very bad but I kept on pushing myself and now I think I have gotten more fit. I felt very tired and will try to come at 18 minutes and 30 seconds next time. If all of this does not win you over, let me tell you that I beat Richard and came after Will. I felt like next time I just need to leave the door more quicker and cross faster so i can save some seconds! I did great today and feel like I will do better as we progress into fitness more and more.

Need more upper body strength
I will start lifting weights now because I know that my legs are very strong and can lift 3x the amount that my hands can. I feel like I really need to start eating more because I am not very heavy(120pounds). I feel like this will help me in many other ways as well because on some tennis shots you will be forced to use your muscles and I need to get some upper body strength to climb up the ranking more and more.

Dodgeball
Today we played dodge ball and how I helped myself participate and others participate is by giving balls and helping others so that they don't get hit by some of the powerhouses in our class. I was brave and tried to make the game more amusing by risking me to get out by getting the balls. I stayed as a team player and learned one more thing that I can be a leader.
Tennis Shoes wrecked
So I had the barricade 8 and they got ripped in 7 months! I did not play tennis for 2 months due to injury and going on a vacation to a very hot place. So now that they are ruined I have to get new ones. Maybe I should get 2 pairs, one for training and one for matches because I burn through the most durable shoe brand in the sport.So it took me 5 months to rip through them. Maybe I should play tennis on better courts so they last a little longer. I play 2-6 hours depending if it is sunny outside or not. If it is sunny I play 3 hours with my brother and then I play 3 hours with my dad. If it is getting dry from rain we will go and play for 2 hours so we have less chance to get injured. #LOVE FOR THE SPORT
The dances
So when we danced I learned that I was brave to try something new and get out of my comfort zone.I also showed a new leadership aspect of me by showing my friends and we each commenting on each other. I think that week was a very fun week for gym class.

I thin that I deserve a G because I give it all I have and try and get others more actively involved. I have been getting better at being a leader and a team player and have brought my gym strip all of the time.I have helped people who need it and run with people who are as fast as me or run by myself if I can't find anyone that run's the same pace as me. Tennis updates and my Blister
So one thing new that you will learn about me is that I love to play tennis and I play about 2 hours everyday if the weather is good. I have been playing a lot and now I am starting to have blisters because I have forgot to change my grip. I have been hurt and now I will need to to put on tape and play tennis.I am also # 38 in British Columbia as of right now! My goal this year is to get in the top 15 and that is very achievable for me.

Community Run
In the community run I got 4th place. I felt like I could not breath because I had to keep the same pace. In good news I was the first grade 9 to finish but the bad news is Will, Richard and another person who all were in grade ten came ahead of me. I felt very very very very very tired, after the community run. I could pace myself better so that I dont jog for 5 mins and take a 1 minute break and I could bring a water bottle with me so that I am "nourished".
Beep Test
Today we did the beep test and I felt like I did a very good job because I was the last grade 9 and the last person who kept up with the beeps. I got 11.9 and after 11 I almost fell a beep behind and was forced to sprint and that exhausted me because I changed pace to fast and I felt like quitting after 11 but all the motivation by my friends kept me up there. I felt way to tired and my legs did not help me. Even after having my injury in my legs I got a very good score. I was exhausted after the beep test and I tried to post pictures or videos of me but the ipads were being evil with me. So the thing I could do better is keep up with the beeps and pace better. I could also start wearing shorts instead of wearing sweatpants because that is also a strong variable. I felt that I tried my best and I need to keep pushing myself.
Insanity workout
Today we did INSANITY and I think that it was insane! In the first 10 minutes it seemed easy but when I thought to push myself harder it really made me sweat.I felt very tired after insanity because I think that I pushed myself to the limits. I had to take a total of 3 minutes of beak because I got to tired. The thing that I could have done better is that I felt that I could take less breaks so that I can get more fit. I felt like I also took a leadership role by helping the people around me to push themselves harder.

Mid-year Reflection
In gym I have almost always brought my gym strip( only forgot once) I liked to do things that I am good at for choice but sometimes I like to try new things and see if I enjoy them If they’re a low amount of people in one thing I will join it to get it started.I have been doing the best to my ability in all of the games that I have played, because what's the point of going to gym class if you take it as a socializing class, I feel like everyday I have to give it my hardest. I have been struggling on all of the days because in late September. I got a brutal injury on my knee caps and by that I can barely play tennis, this is the reason I sometimes don't try my hardest because I get a lot of pain when I do. This injury will stay for a long time so I put on tape... but it still hurts a lot. I have been doing my exercises and stretches at home and it has been getting a lot better.
I contribute to the success of the class because I try my best to involve other people so that they have fun as well, I try and pass to as many people I can try to help others with their way of taking on gym class.I always bring a positive attitude to the class and I think that it rubs to my friends that are with me. I think of gym as a thing that I enjoy doing and not as a punishment. I interact to other students in a positive way and pass them the ball as much as I can and make them get involved and have fun in gym class.
In fitness I try to push myself and whenever I do my knee caps start hurting a lot and then I am unable to push myself for gym and when I play tennis. I enjoy the fitness activity where one partner stretches and one jogs around the hub because I can stretch and get better faster.
Leadership to me means that to get the game started and have fun doing it. The best leaders in our class in richard and kaleb brown , I try to be a leader but I think that I am getting there. They always start the game and have fun doing it and richard steps up and helps people it they don't know what they are doing.
The only improvement I want to make this year in gym class is to get my injury fixed because if that stays I will not be able to do any type of physical activity and especially fitness classes. I am most proud of the effort I try to put in even if it hurt's my legs. I think I should stop doing that so I can get fixed faster and try my hardest after!
