Grouse grind

On Monday me and my family decided to do the grouse grind. I wanted to do this again because my last time was 1 hour and 30 mins and I was really tired after. This time I went with my brother and we both kept on going for 4 mins and stopped for 1. This way we regained our energy and had a good time. It was funny because we motivated this really fit guy because we kept on catching up to him and he kept on getting up and kept on going. Then there were these kids who were full of energy and at the end of 3/4 my brother ran out of water so instead of leaving him I have him half of mine. I could have easily gone faster but I felt like he needed motivation so I waited 3 mins at 1/4 for him and then he went faster. At the end I ran when I saw the top and beat those energetic kids and that really fit guy. It was fun

  1. I like this for two main reasons. 1) You did it with your family. 2) You actually tried a work/rest interval strategy. That is cool. I think you could so under 1 hour based on your fitness scores in class. I did 50 min last time and you are way lighter and younger than me… I wanna see a time under one hour!!! :)
